On the Tuesday, March 25, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Sonny and Ava’s heated argument led to trouble for Port Charles’ dapper don.
Ava Learns Sonny Has a Problem
Kristina (Kate Mansi) couldn’t wait to tell her dad that Ava (Maura West) was hurting for money and could barely afford to take care of Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola). Kristina thought this was information was a great way for Sonny (Maurice Benard) to re-open the custody case. Sonny said he would consider it, so Kristina left the room to play with Donna.
As soon as he was alone, Ava showed up and asked if she could have more child support. Sonny told her that he knew she was hurting for money and in debt, so she should come right out and ask for money for herself. Ava did just that and begged for $2 million. Sonny agreed to give it to her if she was willing to revise the custody agreement and have Avery only two weekends a month.
Ava refused to go for that idea so a shouting match ensued that left Sonny clutching his chest and falling to the floor. Ava had no idea what to do, but figured it out fast when she saw Sonny’s bottle of pills on the floor. She began to grin and held onto them as Sonny gasped for breath. Ava had no idea that Kristina was in the next room.
Carly’s Choice
Carly (Laura Wright) checked herself out of the hospital and headed straight for Jack’s (Chris McKenna) office. Jack was stunned to see her and assumed that she was only there just to break up with him since being with him nearly got her killed.
Carly said she was there to warn him that Jason (Steve Burton) was gunning for him, but Jack wasn’t scared of Jason. Instead, he was scared of losing Carly and admitted that he needed her. Carly said she needed Jack, too. She had no intention of breaking up with him and wanted to be with him. They then sealed things with a kiss.
Over at WSB training, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) revealed that she had an injured ankle. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) was surprised that she kept that fact a secret for days. He said it was okay to admit when you were physically hurt and ask for help. Josslyn promised to keep that in mind.
Quartermaine Quandries
Emma (Braedyn Bruener) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) couldn’t wait to tell Ned (Wally Kurth) their new idea. They thought if the Qs agreed to give the city a different piece of protected land then they could solve the entire crypt ordeal. Ned wasn’t too sure, but later told Tracy (Jane Elliot) that he thought they could use their other leverage against Drew (Cameron Mathison). Why not tell Willow that Drew was sleeping with Nina? Tracy nixed the idea and decided they should hold that info for a rainy day to lord over Nina.
Tracy also informed Ned that she had a talk with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and learned that she and Lois (Rena Sofer) had a big fight, and that’s why Lois left for Brooklyn. Ned was surprised and assumed Lois would have told him if it was a big deal. He decided to let Brook Lynn be and solve her own problems because she was an adult, after all.
As for Brook Lynn, she got into another quarrel with Lulu (Alexa Havins). Not only did Lulu quit her job, but she also accused Brook Lynn of sending Chase (Josh Swickard) to confront her. Brook Lynn denied the accusation and then figured out why Lulu was really upset. She was angry that she never knew that Brook Lynn once had a romantic relationship with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna).
Liz Has Questions
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) summoned Ric (Rick Hearst) to tell GH to tell him that she was worried about Portia (Brook Kerr). She saw Ric meeting with her friend and wanted to know if Portia was in any legal trouble. Ric insinuated that she was but refused to give Liz any details due to attorney-client privilege. Liz promised to help Ric with the case in any way she could.
