Laura’s Poor Choice?
Jordan (Tanisha Harper) made a big deal about Laura’s (Genie Francis) friendship with Sonny (Maurice Benard) on Thursday, which seemed to foreshadow something. On Tuesday, she spent time with him at the hospital dedication, and on Wednesday, she will have dinner with him in public.
That one seemingly innocent dinner can lead to a whole lot of fallout for Laura as she is under scrutiny for not giving Drew (Cameron Mathison) the go-ahead to build the esplanade on Sonny’s pier. Will Councilman Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) spot Sonny and Laura breaking bread together and cause a ruckus?
Lucas’ Love Life
Lucas (Van Hansis) never should have told Maxie (Kirsten Storms) about his encounter in Miami because now she can’t stop talking about it and encourages Lucas to contact Marco (Adrian Anchondo). He might even be surprised when he does it.
Meanwhile, Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) interviews a new lawyer for her burgeoning practice with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Could this new lawyer have something to do with Lucas? Hmmmm…
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) also issues a warning on Wednesday, and something tells us all of these stories are somehow related.
Carly’s Love Life
Lucas’ sister Carly (Laura Wright) is a little more certain than Lucas that she knows what she wants. She might have just been poisoned and nearly died. However, that does not mean that she doesn’t want Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). In fact, Jack and Carly discover they are on the exact same page when it comes to their future together.
There’s just one little problem. Carly still does not know that her boyfriend sent her daughter to spy school.
