When James Patrick Stuart and Valentin left General Hospital and Port Charles last summer, that seemed to be the end of the road for Valentin Cassadine. However, it now looks like he is back to stay.
James Patrick Stuart is Ready to Commute
Not only did Valentin skip Port Charles, but Stuart made his way out of Los Angeles and now resides in Oregon. However, that doesn’t mean he can’t commute back and forth, something he’s noted he’s been doing in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
“Breakfast in Hollywood… dinner in Portland,” he shared, along with a photo of his plane touching down at the end of the day.
While it looked like Valentin might be killed this week, he is now in police custody where he is somewhat safe. Maybe Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) could even visit his Papa, which is all he cares about — along with his beloved Anna (Finola Hughes), of course.
Although Stuart had been popping in and out as Valentin since the end of last year, it seemed like he would just be a guest player from now on. However, it looks like he going to help Jason (Steve Burton) keep Carly (Laura Wright) and Jack (Chris McKenna) apart, which can earn him some sort of reprieve.
Also, with Stuart commuting for scenes that will air weeks from now, it appears he is back on GH for the long haul. Does that mean Anna and Valentin might be together again soon? She has been quite lonely of late and clearly still loves Valentin. And he still loves her, so maybe those two crazy kids can find their way back together again when all is said and done — if Jason approves.
