Smitty Has Questions
Smitty (Mike Manning) can’t stand watching Martin’s (Brandon Claybon) nightmares or seeing him clearly torn apart by a memory he is suppressing but Martin doesn’t want to talk about it no matter how much Smitty prods.
However, Smitty has his own issues. He is tired of being a stay-at-home dad and wants more out of life. That might be why he is so set on concerning himself with Martin’s problems. Martin’s secret and Smitty’s frustrations in life are causing trouble in paradise, but Martin’s grandparents have been determined to keep things buried.
A Strange Press Conference
Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon (Clifton Davis) surprise all when they decide to hold a press conference. Perhaps they want to get ahead of things in case Bill (Timon Durrett) makes good on his threats. They are not even sure what he is threatening but they feel it has something to do with Martin.
Do they consult with Martin before they do this or are they up to something else? Anita and Vernon seem pretty savvy, but are they about to make a big miscalculation?
Andre’s Determination
Despite starting a sexual relationship with Dani (Karla Mosley), Andre (Sean Freeman) can’t take his eyes off Ashley (Jen Jacob). He has always had a thing for the young nurse and continues flirting with her any chance he gets. After delivering a baby together, Andre is more smitten than ever.
However, Ashley is a taken woman and she has been warned against him. Andre has also been warned not to hurt Ashley, but he can’t seem to stay away from her.
