On the December 17, 2024, episode of General Hospital, Sasha stood up to Tracy, Brook Lynn stood up to Lulu, Elizabeth learned she’d have to stand up for herself, and so much more.
Sasha’s No Good, Terrible Bad Day
Poor Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) couldn’t catch a break. As she went over the Christmas Eve menu with Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), Tracy (Jane Elliot) stormed into the kitchen demanding to know why Sasha made Lulu (Alexa Havins) scrambled eggs rather than eggs benedict. Sasha quickly became sick of Tracy chastising her and told Tracy to make the eggs herself.
Tracy was so incensed that she went to the stables to vent to Cody (Josh Kelly). That’s where she found Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Cody. Maxie was there to invite Cody for Christmas. He declined because he didn’t want to see Sasha, but Maxie tried to convince him not to turn away from his new family. When Maxie heard about Tracy’s fight with Sasha she informed Tracy it was the wrong day for that because it was the second anniversary of Sasha’s baby’s death.
As for Sasha, she visited the church where she ran into Sonny (Maurice Benard). He sat with her as she poured out her heart over losing Liam. Sonny told Sasha that one day she would be a mother and any baby would be lucky to have her. After Sonny left, Tracy arrived and apologized for how she treated Sasha.
Sasha accepted Tracy’s apology but stood her ground and said she could not tolerate any more disrespect from Tracy. When Tracy walked out of the church, an older man walked in. He sat behind Sasha as she prayed for her new baby. After he lifted his head, the audience could see that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was stalking poor Sasha.
Brook Lynn’s Confrontation
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was surprised to see Lulu (Alexa Havins) in the Q living room eating breakfast. She tried to be cordial to Lulu and make small talk, but Lulu wasn’t having it and gave BLQ a snide attitude. Brook Lynn lost it the same way Sasha had with Granny Tracy and told Lulu she should be grateful for what she had rather than holding onto vendettas from the past.
That prompted Lulu to leave as soon as Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived. Later, Maxie and Brook Lynn caught up. Maxie began talking about how some of her pregnancies were planned, which caused Brook Lynn to break down in tears. She told Maxie that she and Chase (Josh Swickard) had been trying to have a baby for months but so far, no luck. Brook Lynn worried that something might be wrong.
While Brook Lynn cried, Lulu made her way to the stables where she formally met Cody, the man who picked her up when she was hitchhiking after she escaped Turning Woods.
Anna’s Request
Anna (Finola Hughes) continued to beat herself up over Dex’s (Evan Hofer) death and made it her business to find out who really killed him. To that end, she needed someone to lead the charge in the search for Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), so she asked Jason (Steve Burton) to do it. He was happy to oblige but tried to convince Anna that she wasn’t responsible for what happened to Dex.
Anna insisted that she was because she was the one who encouraged Dex to become a cop. She knew Josslyn was terrified by the prospect, but Dex enjoyed what he was doing and was proud to be a member of the PCPD. After Jason left, Sonny stopped by to assure Anna that he had nothing at all to do with Dex’s death. Anna didn’t think the murder style was Sonny’s anyway.
As for Jason? He met with Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) for an update on Valentin. Sadly, Valentin had managed to escape Spinelli’s surveillance.
Laura Balks At Marty’s Idea
Marty (Michael E. Knight) met with Laura (Genie Francis) for coffee and told his sister all about being kidnapped by Anna and Jason as a part of their search for Valentin and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). Laura blamed herself because she was so insistent that Anna locate them. She chastised Anna and Jason for their methods but understood their determination.
Marty suggested to Laura that they use Cyrus’ (Jeff Kober) connections to aid in their search, but Laura refused to even think of it. She didn’t want Cyrus anywhere near her family.
Liz’s Two Men
Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) was surprised to see Ric (Rick Hearst) in Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) living room when he dropped in with coffee. Ric was there to give Liz legal advice now that the hospital was investigating her parts in Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) and Dex’s deaths. Although neither man liked the other, they both advised Elizabeth to steer clear of the hospital.
