On the Friday, December 20, 2024, episode of General Hospital, Port Charles residents celebrated Christmas Eve with all the drama and joy you could expect.
Christmas Eve at Nina’s
Nina (Cynthia Watros) had to grin and bear it as she watched Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) fawn over Drew (Cameron Mathison) on Christmas Eve. While Willow played with the kids, Drew told Nina that his feelings for Willow were stronger than he originally believed. Nina reminded Drew how he expressed his feelings for her on his office desk, his office floor, her couch… Drew got the hint.
When Nina couldn’t stand it much longer, she called in reinforcements. Ava (Maura West) arrived with Ric (Rick Hearst) by her side. Ric was perturbed that Nina called them away from dinner at Cafe Cherie. Ric made sure to mention that Michael (Chad Duell) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) stole Aurora from Drew. Willow could barely believe Michael would be so vindictive toward poor Drew.
Ava and Ric also enjoyed watching Drew and Willow go down a path of destruction. Before Ric could kiss Ava, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) called and summoned him over. She wanted to invite him to Christmas dinner for Molly’s (Kristen Vaganos) sake.
Back at Nina’s place, all of Nina’s lifelong wishes came true when Willow called her “Mom” and thanked her for being the mother she’d always needed.
Christmas at Rice Plaza
Laura (Genie Francis) was thrilled to run into Trina (Tabyana Ali) at Rice Plaza. She was pleased to know that Trina was moving on with her life and knew that Trina would never forget Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Laura also marveled over the fact that she had Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Lulu (Alexa Havins) with her for the holidays this year. When Anna (Finola Hughes) appeared, she and Laura had a chat. Anna was worried about how Lulu would feel when she learned that Anna shot Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) last year.
As for Trina, she was thrilled to see Kai (Jens Austin Astrup), who was spending the holiday with his friends. After Kai walked away, Trina wondered if she had said something silly.
An Ashford Christmas
Curtis (Donnell Turner) got a big surprise when Marshall (Robert Gossett) arrived home for the holidays. Marshall was taking a break from his tour with Wynton Marsalis and wanted to be with his family.
After Trina arrived home, Curtis made an announcement. He was the new CEO of Aurora Media and was quite proud of himself for stealing the company out from under Drew. Once alone with Portia (Brook Kerr), Curtis admitted that he was still hurt to lose his friendship with Drew.
A Merry Christmas For the Scorpios?
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) got ready to spend her first Christmas with her newfound family, but knew she had a job to do when Maxie (Kirsten Storms) called. James (Gary James Fuller) was sad that Cody (Josh Kelly) was still refusing to accept his Christmas invite, so Sasha went to work. She did her best to convince Cody that he deserved to be happy with a family, but Cody still said he wouldn’t be there.
Sasha arrived at Maxie’s place on her own and had to break the bad news to James that Cody wasn’t coming. Lo and behold, Cody showed up at the last minute, making James and Mac (John J. York) very happy indeed.
Carly’s Full Christmas House
Carly (Laura Wright) welcomed Sonny (Maurice Benard) to her home, which is also the home they once shared together. He asked where Michael and Willow were, causing Carly to realize he hadn’t kept abreast of the latest family news. Michael and Willow had split up because Willow slept with Drew. Sonny was a bit taken aback by that news, but he never liked Drew anyway.
When Sonny was alone in the living room with Josslyn (Eden McCoy), he gave her condolences over Dex (Evan Hofer) and apologized for the way he had treated him. Josslyn told Sonny that Dex made her see that things weren’t always black and white, so she apologized for how she had treated Sonny over the last few years. The two made up and hugged it out.
Michael soon arrived and filled Sonny in on the fact that he stole Aurora from Drew. Sonny was both amused and proud of his son. Later, Carly arrived home after fixing a mess at Bobbie’s. But, she had a surprise guest with her. She’d invited Brennan (Charles Mesure) to join them for the holiday. Brennan put out his hand to shake Sonny’s, but all Sonny could do was give him the side eye.
