On the Thursday, December 19, 2024, episode of General Hospital, Jason made himself at home, Curtis made Drew enraged, Willow asked Nina for some love, and so much more.
Jason Morgan Quartermaine?
Jason (Steve Burton) was surprised when Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) told him to put down his plate when he tried to do the dishes. That was her job and he wouldn’t want anyone else doing his job, would he? Jason relented and made some small talk with Sasha about cooking.
Sasha thanked Jason for saving her life and informed him that she even heard from Holly (Emma Samms) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) on a regular basis. Jason noted how worried they were about her when Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was keeping Sasha hostage. Sasha mentioned that she had seen pictures of Jason around the house and that he seemed like a different person. Jason acknowledged that he was indeed someone else back then and assured Sasha he would not be wearing that old reindeer sweater for the holiday.
Later, Tracy (Jane Elliot) took Jason aside and told him with all the troubles between them through the years, he has proven himself to be a better Quartermaine than Drew (Cameron Mathison). Jason thought about it for a moment and agreed. He may have only moved in for Danny, but he realized he was indeed a member of the Quartermaine family. Can Monica (Leslie Charleson) please hear this? She’s only waited 30 years for this moment.
The Saga of Michael and Willow
Michael (Chad Duell) and Chase (Josh Swickard) worked out together at the Aurora gym. Michael apologized to Chase for betraying him by sleeping with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) when she was married to Chase, but Chase didn’t see Willow sleeping with Drew as the same situation. Michael admitted that he wanted to work things out with Willow, but he was afraid Willow didn’t feel the same. He also announced that he still wanted Drew to pay. Michael was later shocked when Marty (Michael E. Knight) showed up and served him with separation papers.
Willow was highly impressed with how Nina decorated her place for Christmas but was more surprised when Nina (Cynthia Watros) told her that she hired Marty as her attorney. Willow had a stunner for Nina too. She had invited Drew and Scout for Christmas. Nina balked at the idea but Willow finally convinced her to allow it. Willow also made Nina’s year when she told her she just wanted her to be a mom to her.
Furious Drew
Drew barrelled into Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) office demanding to know why Curtis was just sitting there and not doing anything about Aurora’s failing stock. Curtis had a grin on his face as he watched Drew flail. It finally hit Drew that Curtis set the whole thing up. Curtis admitted he did and why. Drew tried to appease Curtis and told him that he planned to offer him a big raise as head of the wellness division.
Drew was further shocked when Curtis revealed he knew all about Drew trying to bribe Michael with the CEO spot because Drew had slept with Willow. An angry Drew tried to fire Curtis but Curtis refused to leave. Michael was the majority shareholder now and Curtis was the new CEO for the next five years so he wasn’t going anywhere.
As for the Aurora wellness division. Well, hmmm, there was a problem with the lock on the steam room door, which was how Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) ended up locked inside. Jordan hoped this wasn’t how she’d die.
The College Scene
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) spent some time together in the Q living room where they talked about songs Gio used to sing with his mom back in Brooklyn. BLQ wondered why Gio was not out with friends, so he admitted he had a hard time making friends since moving to Port Charles. Between studying and practice, there was no time.
In Rice Plaza, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was excited when she ran into Cameron (Will Lipton). However, she was taken aback when she met his girlfriend Gretchen (Indi Star). Cam asked Joss how Dex (Evan Hofer) was doing. She had to tell him that Dex had died the night before. Later, when Joss was alone, Dex appeared to her in his police dress uniform, but then he quickly disappeared leaving Josslyn all alone.
