On the Monday, December 23, 2024, episode of General Hospital, Lulu’s dreams kinda came true, Anna offered a Christmas surprise, the Qs celebrated with song, Carly welcomed a special guest, and Molly was stunned.
A Busy Christmas Eve In Rice Plaza
After promising Tracy that she would focus on her son while also searching for her daughter, Lulu met up with her family in Rice Plaza. Laura was overjoyed to have two of her three children with her. Elizabeth had joined Lucky while Aiden was out with friends. When Lulu spotted Dante, he admitted to her that he half-expected Sam to come along, which he maybe shouldn’t have actually said.
They noticed Rocco across the plaza looking at his phone. Rocco had a text from a foreign number from someone calling themself “C”. Rocco took a picture of Lulu and Dante and sent it to “C” before “C” called. Rocco asked Dante if he could speak to his mother alone. He handed the phone to a confused Lulu, who gasped when she heard Charlotte’s voice on the other end.
Lulu immediately asked where she could find Charlotte, but the teen insisted she couldn’t give away her location. Lulu begged Charlotte for more info, promising not to tell another living soul. Charlotte finally told her where she was and Lulu said she would be there soon. She then took off after swearing Rocco to secrecy. Nobody could know that Lulu knew where to find her daughter.
The Return of Emma Scorpio-Drake
Rice Plaza was the happening place of the season as Gio found a girl he couldn’t get out of his mind. She ran to him, called him Doug, and then asked him to hold onto a wallet. Gio soon realized the wallet was stolen when he heard a man telling a police officer that a girl had robbed him.
The girl soon reappeared and asked for the wallet back. Gio refused to give it to her and accused her of stealing it. She admitted she was indeed a thief, but so was the man she stole it from. He had ripped off an older woman selling ornaments in the plaza. Gio handed her the wallet, she took the cash, then gave the wallet to the cop. Gio was clearly smitten.
Over at Maxie’s place, the Scorpios celebrated the holiday with Anna promising a surprise. After Maxie lost the gifts for a few minutes and James tried on his new cowboy hat, the surprise arrived. It was Anna’s granddaughter, Emma Scorpio-Drake. She also happened to be the girl that Gio had met at Rice Plaza.
A Kinda Quiet Quartermaine Christmas
Ned and Jason spent a few bonding moments in Sasha’s kitchen while Ned lamented his job making the cheese wheel. Jason was ready to bring Monica a snack since she was still upstairs feeling sick. Ned commented that Edward would be so happy to have Jason home again after nearly 30 years. Ned was happy to have him there too considering he was the one who witnessed the accident that took Jason’s memories and turned him into Jason Morgan. He even lied and said he was the one driving the car and not AJ.
Brook Lynn and Chase were the next two characters to spend time in Sasha’s kitchen. Brook Lynn admitted she hated seeing Lulu with Tracy earlier and was already annoyed by Lulu’s return to the living Chase made things worse by telling his wife that he once had a crush on Lulu. He later backtracked and said that BLQ was the only woman for him.
Over in the living room, Tracy commented how quiet the place was without all the kids around. Lois reminded Tracy and Ned that Brook Lynn and Chase’s baby could be living with them next Christmas. Ned said this would be his first grandchild. Lois then got an all-knowing look on her face that she tried to hide.
When Gio arrived home, he picked up his violin, Ned picked up his guitar, and Chase broke out the rusty vocal cords so they could all sing Christmas carols.
Christmas in Carly’s World
Sonny was dismayed that Carly had invited Brennan for Christmas Eve. He worried that Carly was asking for trouble by having a WSB agent in the house. Brennan could tell he wasn’t liked, but made the best of things. However, he raised Josslyn’s suspicions when he told her he was sorry about what happened to Dex.
After Sonny and Kristina left for the tree lighting in Rice Plaza, Jason and Danny arrived. Jason was more annoyed than Sonny was when he saw Brennan there. He took Carly aside and once again warned her that she should stay away from Brennan. Carly argued that Jason had no say over what she did with her life.
When Danny quietly walked outside onto the terrace, Jason joined him. Danny admitted that when he was making snowmen with Donna and Avery he was reminded of his mom. Danny saw a bright star in the sky and decided it was Sam. He and Jason looked up and wished Sam a merry Christmas.
A Merry Christmas for Molly
Alexis coerced a puzzled Ric into helping her decorate, for Molly’s sake of course. The two nearly killed each other as they made a festive home, but in the end, got the job done. Ric even wanted to break out the mistletoe for his “shrew of an ex-wife” but Alexis knocked it right out of his hand.
Molly was floored when she arrived home to find both of her parents standing there. She couldn’t believe they spent time together and lived to tell about it.
