On the Wednesday, February 19, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Cyrus explained his reasons for being a murderer to Elizabeth before all hell broke loose.
Cyrus As God

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) told Cyrus (Jeff Kober) that she couldn’t talk to him because it was late and it wasn’t a good time. Cyrus refused to take no for an answer and pushed his way into Elizabeth’s house. He figured he could answer all her questions since she had been asking so many of them at places like GH and Turning Woods.

So, Elizabeth started at the beginning and asked him why he tried to kill Lulu (Alexa Havins). Cyrus explained that he had watched Lulu suffer for four long years and needed to put a stop to it. He reasoned that sometimes keeping people alive with machines did them a disservice. They couldn’t even speak for themselves. Liz said the families decided for them and then realized Cyrus was Lulu’s family and had chosen for her.

During their long and revealing talk, Cyrus explained that he tried to kill Lulu with another drug that only caused her liver to fail, so he resorted to turning off her ventilator. When Sam (Kelly Monaco) tried to play God and prolong Lulu’s coma, Cyrus had to kill her for interfering with God’s plan. He discovered Digitalis was the perfect drug to silently end people’s suffering. He only killed Dex (Evan Hofer) because Dex was close to figuring out the truth.
Feeling that Liz understood that his mission had to go on, he tried to kill her too. Then, Lucky (temporarily played by Guy Wilson) barged in and a struggle ensued. While Liz called the police, she noticed Lucky had a loaded syringe in his thigh.
Josslyn’s Mission

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) tried to be as nice as possible to Emma (Braedyn Bruener) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) when Emma asked if Joss would be a speaker at her fundraiser. Joss said she just didn’t have the time as she struggled for someone to take her shift at Bobbie’s. She finally left and headed for Cyrus’ hideout.

Carly (Laura Wright) and Jack (Chris McKenna) enjoyed their Valentine’s Day in her kitchen until Donna had a nightmare and interrupted them. As Carly put Donna back to bed, Jack received a text and had to run out ASAP. Did he learn where Josslyn was?
More Drama at The Savoy

Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr) were dismayed when they saw Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) walk into The Savoy. Curtis pulled Drew aside and told him that Michael’s wife was welcome in his club, but Drew was not. An angry Drew left with Willow and brought her to his new house. Willow was impressed, but then Drew shocked her when he asked her to move in.
Back at The Savoy, Lucas (Van Hansis) and Brad (Parry Shen) enjoyed their evening together and gossiped about Willow and Drew. Both of them noted that Willow didn’t look happy or in love at all. Lucas then abruptly looked uncomfortable to be with Brad so he left. Brad made sure to wish Lucas a happy Valentine’s Day.
Lulu’s Big Mouth

Lulu and Brook Lynn (Amanda ended up fighting over a Deception emergency. Brook Lynn was angry at Lulu for being rude to a vendor on the phone. Lulu chastised Brook Lynn for falling upwards in life and lucking into everything she had. She thought Brook Lynn had the perfect job and husband and would soon have perfect babies. Dante interrupted the fight so Brook Lynn left.
Lulu repeated the same things to Dante that she said to Brook Lynn. She lamented that she had it much worse than Brook Lynn because she had been in a coma for four years and had woken up to a life she barely recognized.
Dante had just been at Bobbie’s with Chase where he learned that Chase and Brook Lynn were having fertility issues. Dante didn’t want to spread news that wasn’t his to spread, but after listening to Lulu vent and complain, he finally told her that Chase and Brook Lynn couldn’t have children the old fashioned way.
