On the Monday, February 24, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Jason ended up right back at the PCPD where he is most comfortable.
Number One Suspect
Jason (Steve Burton) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he really wanted to kill Cyrus (Jeff Kober), but he was Danny’s (Asher Atonyzyn) only parent now and he just couldn’t do it. Sonny noted how Jason had changed, but sometimes life and death can force that on people.
Meanwhile, Anna (Finola Hughes) wanted answers. She told Chase (Josh Swickard) that the scene at Cyrus’ cabin was way too immaculate and clean. That made her think that Jason had killed Cyrus and made sure that nobody would suspect a thing, except her, of course. That prompted Anna to get Jason back into the interrogation room where she asked him why he would do such a thing after the talk they had.
Jason insisted that he only went to Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) grave and then to see Drew (Cameron Mathison) after he was released. He didn’t go anywhere near Cyrus. When Anna told him what the crime scene looked like, he agreed that Cyrus was killed but wondered who did it. Chase had some answers in the forensics report that found Jason’s hair at the scene.
Josslyn’s Nerves
Trina (Tabyana Ali) found a frazzled Josslyn (Eden McCoy) at Bobbie’s and told her to call her mother. Carly (Laura Wright) had been trying to reach Joss but she no longer had a phone. Josslyn finally lied and told Trina that she had gone to Dex’s (Ean Hofer) apartment to be alone. When her phone showed her a memory of Dex, she threw it against the wall in a rage and that was why she needed a new one. Trina bought the story.
Before Jason was called down to the PCPD, Joss approached him about getting some advice, but that was right before Anna called. When Felicia (Kristina Wagner) stopped at Bobbie’s, she told Josslyn that Anna had the main suspect in custody now — Jason.
Marty and Laura’s Guilt
Marty (Michael E. Knight) rushed to Laura’s (Genie Francis) side at the hospital as soon as he learned what had happened to Lucky (Jonathan Jackson). Laura had more news for her good brother. Not only did their bad brother try to kill Lucky, but he also attempted to kill Lulu (Alexa Havins) multiple times and was responsible for her liver failure.
Marty blamed himself for his brother’s transgressions. He wanted to believe that Cyrus had changed and wouldn’t have blamed Jason if he’d killed him after what Cyrus did to Sam. He finally understood the night at Charlie’s. Laura also blamed herself for not having Cyrus banned from Lulu’s room the moment she learned he had been visiting her.
Big News For The Davis Women
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) got Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Kristina (Kate Mansi), and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) together in Alexis’ office to give them all an update on Cyrus. They were stunned to learn that Sam died because she wanted to save another woman’s life. Alexis couldn’t believe Cyrus hadn’t been arrested yet, but Kristina had Molly alarmed when she began railing against the justice system letting another person get away with murder.
Ric (Rick Hearst) dropped by with some paperwork when Alexis was alone and knew something was wrong. Alexis finally told him why Sam died. Ric was shocked and tried to hug Alexis. She pushed him away but he told her he was sorry and took her in his arms anyway.
Brook Lynn’s Big Truth
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was excited to tell Lois (Rena Sofer) that Chase knew all about her having a child when she was a teenager. She was so pleased that Chase was understanding and supportive rather than being mad. Lois was a bit unnerved but felt better when Brook Lynn said she didn’t tell Chase that Dante was her baby’s father.
Lois started to silently freak out when Brook Lynn told her that Chase suggested finding her child. To make matters worse, Gio (Giovanni Mazza) found them and gave Lois a gift from Sonny. Lois just smiled and pretended it wasn’t weird that Sonny loves giving Gio money.
