On the Friday, January 17, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Tracy’s stubbornness landed her in a whole lot of trouble.
Chase Tries Reasoning
Tracy (Jane Elliot) was frustrated when Chase (Josh Swickard) became the next person to tell her to give Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) her children back. She once again refused. Chase knew she wasn’t doing this out of vengeance because he saw how kind she was to his father and niece. Chase told Tracy he was aware that family is the most important thing to her and understood her motivation. Nonetheless, Tracy was not handing over Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) great-grandchildren.
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) walked on her husband and grandmother fighting and knew Tracy had done something wrong. She also tried to reason with Granny Tracy and reminded her that she had no right to Willow’s children.
Soon, Marty (Michael E. Knight) arrived with Chase, another cop, and Drew (Cameron Mathison). They had a court order to take Willow’s kids but Tracy told them that the kids weren’t there so they couldn’t have them. Tracy was stunned when Drew told the cop to cuff her and have his own aunt arrested.
Willow Relents
Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) were relieved when Willow told them that she would allow them to see Michael because she knew it was best for Michael. She even let them listen in and have input when Portia (Brook Kerr) came along to discuss the next steps for Michael’s care.
Portia was happy to announce that she’d found Michael a bed at the Johns Hopkins burn unit, but Carly had a better idea. There was a doctor at a clinic in Germany who did wonders on Ava’s (Maura West) face when she had severe burns. Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) said he would help secure Michael a spot. Sonny didn’t want Carly to trust Jack, but Carly insisted Michael would be better off there.
As Sonny thanked Willow for letting him and Carly see their son, Carly visited with Michael, who had woken up. Carly told her son — who was clearly in excruciating pain — that he had a choice to make.
Jordan Reads Drew For Filth
Before telling a cop to cuff Tracy, an unkempt Drew ran into Cody (Josh Kelly) at the Port Charles Grille. Cody didn’t want to say much, but Drew couldn’t keep his big mouth shut. He told Cody that he had nothing to blackmail him with anymore, so he may as well get lost.
Before Cody and Drew came to blows, Jordan (Tanisha Harper) broke things up. When Cody left, Drew thanked Jordan for having his back. All he did was prove that he couldn’t read a room. Jordan told him that he looked like the agitator. She also laid into him for the way he had treated Curtis. All Drew could do was make excuse after excuse for his behavior. Jordan advised him to make amends with those he had wronged.
Lulu Needs a Job
Before heading home to chastise her grandmother, Brook Lynn was surprised to see Lulu (Alexa Havins) stop into Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) office. The two women sparred until Maxie arrived. Brook Lynn left, so Lulu asked Maxie how she had become such good friends with Brook Lynn of all people.
Maxie defended Brook Lynn and told Lulu that she had been there for her during a very difficult time in her life but didn’t give Lulu the details of what happened with Peter (Wes Ramsey), Bailey Lou, and how Brook Lynn and Chase took care of the baby. Lulu finally admitted she was there to apply for a job but did not realize the job was to be Brook Lynn’s assistant and not Maxie’s.
Ava Meets Sidwell
After Lucas (Van Hansis) showed her photos of Avery at dance class, Ava (Maura West) called Ric (Rick Hearst) over to demand he file an emergency order for custody of Avery. She was terrified after someone tried to blow up Sonny’s penthouse. Ric informed her it would be hard to win that fight since Avery was safe at Carly’s house. He also reminded Ava she didn’t have money to pay him.
Suddenly, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) walked in to buy an expensive piece of artwork. Ava was thrilled for the sale, but surprised to learn he had just bought Wyndemere.
