On the Wednesday, January 22, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Willow got her kids back — or at least she got back to them.
Jason Has A Bright Idea
As soon as Drew (Cameron Mathison) spotted Jason (Steve Burton) in the hospital chapel, he told his brother that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) didn’t need to hear anything he had to say. Willow begged to differ when she learned it was about her kids. Jason told her that she could be with her kids if she agreed to live at the gatehouse with them so they could be closer to Monica (Leslie Charleson). Drew hated the idea, but Jason promised he could get Tracy (Jane Elliot) to agree to it.
After Jason left to talk to Tracy, Drew did everything he could to convince Willow that she couldn’t trust the Quartermaines and they would still try to take her kids from her. Willow didn’t care and felt the best-case scenario was being with her kids in a home they were familiar with.
Convincing Tracy
When Jason returned to the PCPD, he proposed his idea to Tracy and she was an adamant no. Lulu (Alexa Havins) had to be the one to convince Tracy to go along with this compromise after Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) let her see her stepmonster. She finally agreed so Jason called Willow and told her to go home to her kids. Tracy was then set free so she could go home too.
Back at the gatehouse, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) babysat the kids as Wiley told her how much he missed his mom. She put him to bed so she could chat with Felicia (Kristina Wagner), but Jason walked in and told them to expect Willow. When Willow got home, Wiley was thrilled as Jason tearfully thanked Jason for taking care of her kids.
Back at the chapel, Drew summoned Marty (Michael E. Knight) and told him that he was the only one who was taking care of Willow’s best interest. Marty looked at Drew like he was nuts.
The New Charlie’s Pub
It was a wild night on Charles Street when Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) celebrated the grand re-opening of Charlie’s Pub. Liz and Lucky had a chat with Marty and learned that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) wanted to let their mother diet peacefully when she was ill last year. He did not believe in suffering and extreme medical methods. That gave them some insight into Cyrus’ motives. Was he trying to commit mercy killings?
Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) enjoyed a date until Isaiah was called away, but Brick (Stephen A. Smith) was there. He first met with Kristina as they wondered where Sonny (Maurice Benard) was. Brick sat down with Jordan and flirted with her, but she did not seem interested. She was much more interested in Isaiah, much to Brick’s chagrin.
Cody (Josh Kelly) spent his time getting drunk and blackmailing Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). He demanded $75k or he would tell the police about Society Setups and Spinelli’s major hacking job. He then punched out Lucky and ended up at the PCPD for his efforts just as Tracy was being released.
Sonny’s Broken Heart
Natalia (Eva LaRue) was shocked to find Sonny passed out on the floor when she walked into his office. She quickly got a pill into his system and called 911. Sonny came to and made her hang up because he refused to go to the hospital. He had her call Isaiah instead. Dr. Gannon might have been on a date with Jordan, but he got to Sonny’s as quickly as he could and chastised his patient for not seeing a cardiologist yet.
Sonny made excuses for his lack of care. His son nearly burned to death and he had to deal with the custody of his grandchildren. Isaiah still didn’t want Sonny to be alone for fear that he could die. Natalia offered to take him back to his Metro Court room and stay with him, satisfying Isaiah for the time being.
