On the Monday, January 27, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Anna begged Jason not to do something, but he let her know why he felt compelled.
Sidwell’s Back
Jason (Steve Burton) was alarmed as soon as Anna (Finola Hughes) told him that Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was back in Port Charles and wanted to expand his business operations. Thanks to there being no laws where he had set up shop in Africa and nobody ever reporting Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) kidnapping, there was nothing Anna could do to stop him just yet. She asked Jason if he or Sasha would be willing to finally go on record with what happened with Sidwell, but Jason balked at the idea.
Anna pleaded with Jason not to go after Sidwell himself, but Jason couldn’t promise anything. Knowing Sidwell arrived the night of the fire at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse, he was sure that Sidwell planted the incendiary device. Since there was no proof, Anna didn’t want Jason to go off half-cocked and do something totally stupid.
Jason finally broke down and told Anna how it felt to see Michael (Chad Duell) on fire. Michael was like a son to him and he felt helpless watching Michael in so much pain. Anna reminded Jason that if he went after Sidwell on his own another innocent person could get caught in the crossfire, just as Michael had.
Laura and Her Kids
Laura (Genie Francis) and Lulu (Alexa Havins) had a heart-to-heart chat about how Laura felt when Lucky was in Africa all those years and Lulu was in a coma. With Sidwell in town, Laura worried that she could lose Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) again. Lulu finally understood how hard the last few years had been on her mother and promised to be more careful.
Lucky and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) visited Turning Woods to ask Liz’s nurse friend about Cyrus (Jeff Kober), but the nurse wasn’t there. They managed to get another nurse to agree to print them out a list of all the patients Cyrus had visited who had died. Lucky said that Uncle Cyrus wanted to send condolence cards.
While Lucky distracted the administrator by threatening to sue the facility, Elizabeth managed to grab the list of dead patients from the printer.
Nina and Curtis Conspire
Nina (Cynthia Watros) was stunned and appalled when Curtis (Donnell Turner) told her that Drew (Cameron Mathison) threatened to use his congressional power to sabotage Aurora. He was in the middle of an acquisition that would need government approval and feared what Drew might do. Curtis asked Nina to go public with her affair with Drew, but Nina still feared how Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) would react if she found out.
Curtis then decided to use Nina’s political connections to make sure that Drew had no friends, power, or influence in DC.
Drew Is Desperate
An agitated Drew called Monica (Leslie Charleson) to confirm if she really did bar him from the Q grounds or if it was Tracy (Jane Elliot). It was indeed Monica, so Drew lamented his plight to Marty (Michael E. Knight). He wondered if he was ever really a part of the Quartermaine family if Monica could discard him so easily. He seemed to have no self-awareness that he contributed to Monica’s animosity.
Drew vowed that nobody was going to keep him from seeing Willow, including the Quartermaines. He was just going to find a new place to live. Marty called Lucy over from the bar to talk to Drew as a real estate agent. Drew told Lucy he wanted five bedrooms because he planned for Willow and her kids to live with him.
Willow’s Day With Chase
Chase (Josh Swickard) stopped by the gatehouse to give Willow a re-housewarming gift from him and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). Willow loved the candle. They made some small talk with Chase admitting that he and Brook Lynn were trying to have a baby.
Soon, Chase’s test results arrived so he gave them to Willow to interpret. When she saw them, Wollow told Chase that he needed to talk to his doctor. Chase wondered why and pressured Willow to tell him what was going on. Chase was devastated to learn that the results showed that he could not father a child.
