On the Thursday, January 9, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Willow and Drew remained baffled over why everyone seemed to hate them.
Clueless Willow
As soon as Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) dropped off Wiley and her things at Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) place, she announced she was going to the hospital to see Michael (Chad Duell). Nina told her not to go cause she would just make things worse for herself. Marty (Michael E. Knight) soon showed up and told Willow he wanted to file for temporary sole custody of Wiley and Amelia immediately, but Willow refused. The most important thing for the moment was Michael and not a court fight.
When Willow got to GH, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) couldn’t believe Willow had the nerve to show her face. Willow was sure that Josslyn would show her some grace since Josslyn had cheated on Cameron (Will Lipton) with Dex (Evan Hofer). As Joss pointed out, it’s not the same situation. It’s not like Joss was married to Cam and had an affair with his uncle. Josslyn ended up calling Willow a skank, much to Willow’s utter shock. How could someone ever talk to her that way?
Clueless Drew
Drew (Cameron Mathison) got it from both Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Carly (Laura Wright). The moment that Curtis saw Drew in the hospital halls he told him to go home. Drew claimed Michael was family and this was none of Curtis’ business. Curtis told Drew that he was the villain in this situation and accused him of wanting Michael to live just to alleviate Drew’s guilt.
Drew then made his way to the chapel where he found Carly. She was as annoyed as Josslyn that Drew would show his face and then have the nerve to enter the chapel after what he had done. Carly accused Drew of having no self-awareness and only caring about himself.
Carly was stunned when Drew said he cared enough about Carly to take the fall for her with the SEC and go to jail. Carly laughed in his face and told Drew that he expected a slap on the wrist and never thought he would go to prison. Drew then turned things around and told Carly what happened to Michael was all her fault.
Nina and Marty Conspire
Back at Nina’s place, Marty (Michael E. Knight) told her that Michael had given Willow the power to make all his medical decisions and that could give her leverage with the custody case. Nina wasn’t sure if Willow would use that leverage.
Later, Curtis stopped by determined to screw over Drew some more, but his time with Nina was interrupted by a knock on the door. It was Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) ready to take Wiley and Amelia. She had a court order and was acting on Carly’s orders.
Jason Wants Out
Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) returned to the penthouse to examine the damage. It was there that Jason shocked Sonny by telling him they needed an exit plan now. What happened to Michael has woken Jason up. He can’t allow this to happen to Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) now that he is his only parent.
After Sonny left, Chase (Josh Swickard) and Anna (Finola Hughes) arrived. Jason answered their questions and then left the cops to do what they needed to do. Anna even got Brennan (Charles Mesure) to agree to help her get to the bottom of things.
Jason returned to the hospital and remembered holding Michael as a baby. Lucas (Van Hansis) let him sit with Michael for a bit. That’s when Michael opened his eyes and struggled to breathe and speak.
Kristina’s Meltdown
Kristina (Kate Mansi) made the situation all about her and how she couldn’t lose another sibling. When she went to get air, Sonny and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) were worried so they split up to find her. Sonny found Kristina on the roof where they shared some bonding moments. Alexis found Molly (Kristen Vaganos) instead. Despite everything, she wanted to be there for Kristina.
When Kristina stopped by Michael’s room and looked in the window, Molly silently joined her and the sisters sat side by side.
