The moment Elizabeth saw Lucky awake and smiling in a hospital bed, she planted a big kiss on his lips solidifying her desire to pursue a new relationship with him. But will that happen so easily for this General Hospital pair?
A New Beginning For Lucky and Liz

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) have spent the last few months getting to know one another again, culminating in a Valentine’s Day kiss in her kitchen. Of course, all hell broke loose soon after but Cyrus (Jeff Kober) is gone now, Lucky is alive, and Liz looks like she is ready to try again.
It took a long time to get here for the high school sweethearts and some may say that Liz has been a little too forgiving after Lucky abandoned her for years to raise their son (and her other sons whom he claimed as his own) alone. Lucky also didn’t treat Liz very well through the years, but Liz is a forgiving woman and Lucky was her very first love. She is ready to start again if Lucky would stick around, so what do the cards hold for this pair?
New Trouble Ahead

GH head writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten see Lucky and Liz as destiny, but not destiny without obstacles.
“An ex turns up at a vulnerable moment and suddenly you’re caught in nostalgia, old feelings masquerading as new ones,” they told Soap Opera Digest. “Liz and Lucky are different. Neither has ever loved another like they’ve loved each other. Their feelings for each other are as vibrant now as they ever were. It’s just that fate always intervened. They ought to have smooth sailing… emphasis on ‘ought.’ Just as they’re getting back on track, Liz and Lucky may face another obstacle when another ex’s story threatens to collide with theirs.”
That could either mean Ric (Rick Hearst) or Jason (Steve Burton) is going to interfere with Elizabeth’s love life, but how? It’s time to watch it all play out.
