General Hospital brought the drama the week of February 17-21, 2025. Some moments were hits, some were misses, and Soap Talks has the rundown on what worked and what didn’t in Port Charles this past week.
Best of GH

Rebecca Herbst and Jeff Kober had us mesmerized this week as a deranged Cyrus explained his killing spree to a calm and measured Elizabeth before he tried to kill her too. The ensuing scenes would have worked better with Jonathan Jackson as Lucky, but he was indisposed and the show must go on.

While Elizabeth quietly tried to talk to Cyrus and understand him despite how terrified she was, Josslyn just pulled out a gun and shot him square in the chest. Act first, think later. Like mother, like daughter. We approve.

Jason really, really, really, wanted to kill Cyrus but he didn’t do it. Not because of Sasha, not because of Alexis, and not because of Anna. He controlled himself because of Sam, just the way it should be.
Worst of GH

Perhaps Willow is starting to figure out just how creepy Drew is (but probably not). She was pretty taken aback by his invitation to move in and was not ready to go that fast yet. Willow might want to rethink her life choices, especially since he was asking her to move into the Dawn of Day house.

We get that Lulu emerged from a four-year coma and found the world had gone on without her, but she really should stop taking it out on Brook Lynn. Sure, she feels bad now but it shouldn’t have taken Dante betraying a confidence for her to get there.

We like Trina. We like Kai. We are just not sure we like them together because it all seems unnatural and forced. Perhaps they just need a more intriguing storyline because his football injury isn’t it.
Don’t forget to watch new episodes of General Hospital each weekday on ABC and weeknight on Hulu.
