Lucky Spencer got a new face for a very important General Hospital moment on Tuesday, but how long will this new face last?
Guy Wilson as Lucky Spencer

Guy Wilson was called in as an emergency recast when Jonathan Jackson could not work for several episodes. While GH has not confirmed what happened, they noted that Jackson is already back on set filming, but you will still see Wilson for a little longer until Jackson’s new scenes air.
This was not the first time Wilson has come onto the GH set in a temporary role. Nearly 20 years ago in 2006, he played a young Luke Spencer when Luke dreamed of what life would have been like if he’d met Tracy as a teen. Wilson later came to daytime fame as Will Horton on Days of our Lives, a part he played from 2014 to 2015.
Will was killed by the Necktie Killer, aka Ben Weston, but later turned up alive played by Chandler Massey, the original adult Will. During his time on DAYS, Wilson worked with Greg Vaughan, who was Will’s uncle. Ironically, Vaughan was playing Lucky when Wilson appeared as a teenage Luke.
Memorable Moments With a Sub

Some GH fans were disappointed when Elizabeth and Lucky’s first kiss in more than a decade came with Wilson as Lucky and not Jackson. But sometimes the show must go on, just as it did when Alexis learned that Harmony killed Neil when Nancy Lee Grahn was recovering from surgery.
We expect plenty of Liz and Lucky kisses to come, as its clear a full reunion with Elizabeth is what GH has had planned for Lucky since Jackson returned to the GH fold last summer.
Don’t forget to watch new episodes of General Hospital each weekday on ABC and weeknight on Hulu.
