General Hospital’s Cyrus Renault is really and most sincerely dead and college student Josslyn Jacks made it happen. While some fans believed that Jason or Dante should have been the one to do Cyrus in, Eden McCoy knew for months that it was going to be Josslyn.
Josslyn’s Kill Shot

Of all the amateurs investigating Cyrus (Jeff Kober), Anna (Finola Hughes) found Josslyn to be the most annoying and ineffective, but in the end, she got the job done. Of course, she had a little help from the WSB because there was no way that Josslyn could have figured it all out on her own. But, she did decide to bring a gun when she checked out Cyrus’ wooded cabin.
Josslyn chose to let Jack cover up her good-bad deed. Good because she rid the town of Cyrus Renault but bad because she still killed a man. How did Eden McCoy feel when she learned about Josslyn’s first murder?
A Big Moment for Josslyn Jacks

“I found out that Josslyn would be killing Cyrus at the same time I found out that was getting killed off,” McCoy told Soap Opera Digest. “So I’ve known for a really long time. That just made it so much more fun for me, because I just knew where it was going, and I was obviously really excited [to film] that, and to do something I had never done before. I was just super honored that [the powers-that-be at GH] thought I should be the one to end Cyrus’s reign of terror.”
Josslyn’s soap opera rite of passage also changes things for the previously self-righteous character. She now can see a different side when it comes to former stepdad Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
“And thank God, because I’m so tired of the hypocrisy!” McCoy said. “I’m happy that Josslyn now has a personal struggle and has to readjust everything. She’s like, ‘Okay, I get this now.'”
Now, the biggest question on Josslyn’s mind is whether she should join the WSB…
