An Affair to Remember
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) came together in the usual soap way — on the rebound after their respective significant others cheated on them with each other. They don’t have much else in common but we are now supposed to root for them despite Billy being in the same age range as Nick (Joshua Morrow) and way too old for Sally.
In fact, they are getting the soap royal treatment as they head to the city of love. Billy takes Sally on a whirlwind trip to Paris she will never forget. But will we?
Forgiving Sharon?
Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) shows she is as unself-aware and hypocrtical as her mother when she gives Sharon (Sharon Case) the cold shoulder. She has forgiven Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) for much worse things than Sharon has done, but Summer is also apparently as unforgiving as Phyllis.
Sharon has been doing her best to put on a happy face and be friendly to everyone in town she may have hurt, but finds that making amends is easier said than done. Even her visit with Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) seemed off.
While Summer acts horribly toward Sharon, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) is faced with making a tough decision. He was more hurt by Sharon than Summer was, but will he be able to forgive? He also hurt Sharon without meaning to all those years ago, so maybe it’s time that is all resolved so that nobody hurts the other again.
