On the Thursday, January 30, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Cody jumped to all the wrong conclusions because that is what Cody does.
Cody’s Big Mistake
As soon as Cody (Josh Kelly) saw Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) place Jason’s hand on her pregnant tummy, Cody assumed that Jason (Steve Burton) had to be her baby daddy. Upset with what he witnessed, Cody ran off without Jason or Sasha seeing him. Jason and Sasha continued to discuss the baby situation with Jason finding it hard to believe that Michael (Chad Duell) would give up his own child.
Sasha was offended that Jason had accused her of lying and insisted she was telling the truth. She knew she had a reputation for not always being forthcoming, but this time, she was on the up and up. Jason still insisted that he wanted to get Michael’s word for it.
Back at the stables, Cody lost it on Molly (Kristen Vaganos) who had dropped by to give him some legal paperwork. After a perturbed Molly left, Cody texted Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and said they needed to talk. Maxie invited him to meet her at the Metro Court where she was having dinner with Lulu (Alexa Havins).
Jason showed up at the Metro Court first to talk to Diane (Carolyn Hennesy). He told her Sasha’s news and vowed to fly to Germany and talk to Michael himself. He made Diane promise to tell Carly nothing. When Cody arrived, he complained to Maxie that Sasha was pregnant and the father wasn’t stepping up. He then announced that Jason was the father. Maxie and Lulu were completely stunned.
Alexis Delivers Bad News
Before Diane met with Jason, she was a friend of Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) as her law partner raged at the fact that Sam was murdered and did not die from a natural heart attack. Diane was stunned and offered Alexis a girls’ night to decompress, but Alexis was meeting Molly and Kristina (Kate Mansi).
When her daughters arrived, Alexis shocked them with the truth about Sam’s death. They were both horrified by the news as all three remaining Davis girls vowed to get to the bottom of what happened.
Brook Lynn Makes a Decision
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Lois (Rena Sofer) continued discussing Chase’s (Josh Swickard) news about his low sperm count. Brook Lynn felt terrible for Chase but also thought she could relate. She thought the feelings were similar to what she felt like when she gave her baby up. Lois tried to bring up IVF again, but Brook Lynn remained stuck on the idea of telling Chase the truth.
Brook Lynn just worried how Chase would feel knowing that she had a child with his best friend. Plus, how can she tell Dante the truth? He would be crushed to know that Brook Lynn kept something like this from him for all these years. Finally, Brook Lynn decided Chase had to know the truth no matter what.
At the boxing gym, Chase let out his frustrations until Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) came along to talk. Dante told him that Sam was murdered and added that Dex Heller was also one of the victims. Chase was stunned by the news and listened to Dante lament his issues with Lulu. He was glad that Rocco had his mother back, but every time he looked at Lulu, all he could do was think about losing Sam.
It finally occurred to Dante that Chase looked like he had his own problems. He offered to be a listening ear, but Chase said he wasn’t ready to talk about it just yet.
Carly’s Romantic Night
Carly (Laura Wright) pulled away from Jack’s (Charles Mesure) kiss, telling him she didn’t want to do something that she would regret. Jack said he was not there to sleep with her. Instead, he took her to an outdoor spot to sit by a fire and sip champagne. That’s where he told her all about how he became lifelong friends with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). However, he doesn’t consider Val a friend anymore after Val just tried to kill him.
Carly asked Jack why he was always so good to her when he got nothing in return. Jack thought Carly was herself was a good enough reward as he kissed her again.
