I think we can all agree, meditation is great (transformative!) and more people meditating is only a good thing. The trouble is, the world we live in these days is so fast-paced and mentally stimulating that people find it incredibly difficult to still their minds enough to enter a meditative state. Enter binaural beat meditation.
Binaural beats work on the premise of entrainment, to bring your brains dominant frequency into a required range for a particular result. Which can range from delta (between 0–4 Hz: deep sleep) to alpha(between 8–12 Hz: deeply relaxed or meditation) and beta(between 12 and 30 Hz: normal waking consciousness). There are of course many more but these are the main frequency ranges our brains reside in.
It may sound complicated or invasive but its a perfectly simple and safe technique which produces amazing results in a very short period. I myself have had my deepest and longest meditations using an entrainment program called Zen12, it’s like the Centerpointe Holosync program, and using it I’ve had deeper meditations than any with other mediation technique.
The video above has a 10-minute deep binaural beat meditation soundtrack and must be used with headphones. I crafted it in 2011 and posted it on YouTube where it has received almost 300,000 views since and some great comments etc. Put on your headphones and test it out!
So why not give it a go and decide for yourself! Click here for more information about Zen12, and other similar programs.
