General Hospital brought the drama the week of January 27-31, 2025. Some moments were hits, some were misses, and Soap Talks has the rundown on what worked and what didn’t in Port Charles this past week.
Best of GH
There is nothing better than Quartermaine chaos and GH gave us that in fine style this week. Tracy was once again the highlight of it all as she shouted at Sasha and anyone else in the room. “Oh my GOD! You’re pregnant with your cousin’s baby” was a classic line delivered masterfully by Jane Elliot. Ned was also a delight and we need to see more of him.
Tracy was back at it at the nail salon where she sparred with Marty and gave the nail technician a hard time. Watching Marty get a pedicure was also a delight. And, while Tracy’s obsession with Sasha is a little weird, it is kinda fun to watch.
Carly had quite a time in Germany this week and it was surprisingly enjoyable to watch. From Valentin’s surprise appearance to Carly and Jack’s close moments and kiss, we think GH has a hit on its hands.
Worst of GH
It’s astounding that Alexis has had no reaction to the hospital taking MONTHS to tell her that her daughter died from an overdose of Digitalis. Why was that not made clear to her the moment the hospital learned this? And they just brought in the police NOW??? This story makes NO sense whatsoever.
Why would Jason not trust that Sasha is telling the truth about her agreement with Michael? He has seemed to like her up until now and has even gone to bat for her. He also saw her reaction when Michael was hurt. It was clear she would never want to betray Michael, so it makes no sense that Jason would think she is lying.
It has been SO obvious for MONTHS that Gio is Brook Lynn’s kid. This story is falling flat because it is the most cliche thing we have seen in years.
