The Young and the Restless brought the drama the week of February 3-7, 2025. Some moments were hits, some were misses, and we have the rundown on what worked and what didn’t in Genoa City this past week.

Yay for a HUGE twist in the Damian story we never saw coming. Now, we need Damian to explain himself much better and to learn who Holden really is and how he is connected to all of this. Perfect soap opera!
We thought one more round of the never-ending Jack and Victor feud would get tired, but we’re amazed at how much we missed Victor barking at Jack Abbott during the entire Jordan ordeal. Welcome back to where things should be.
Sharon and Nick belong together and while it’s torture to see them never get that far, every time they share moments like they did at Crimson Lights this week, it’s delightful. Can we get this show on the road already?
Worst of Y&R
While it was nice to see Victor and Jack spar, watching Victor try to rule Claire’s life and tell her who she can and cannot see is not cool. We have been there and done that so many times before that we can’t stand another second of it.
Phyllis has to be the most hypocritical character on this soap going on about how Sharon has blood on her hands and is getting away with it. How many people has Phyllis killed and didn’t she murder someone and get away with it just last year?
Jack and Diane actually had scenes this week and it was about redecorating the Abbott house. Why give us a new Abbott house when we just got the old Newman Ranch back? Hasn’t this show learned by now not to ruin classic sets?
