On the Wednesday, April 2, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Sidwell was the talk of the town.
A Deception Deal
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) showed up at Wyndemere to warn Sidwell (Carlo Rota) that if he hurt her Deception friends, their deal was off. Sidwell reminded Sasha she wouldn’t get her pay if that happened. Sasha countered that she was not like her mother and there were some things she wouldn’t do for money.
Meanwhile, the Deception women debated making a deal with Sidwell. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) even told them that Sasha said she had exaggerated when she claimed that Sidwell had kidnapped her. The ladies finally took a vote. Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Natalia (Eva LaRue) obtained, but Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) wanted to talk to Sidwell first, so they all went to Wyndemere, where Sidwell charmed them.
Lucy (Lynn Herring) was ready for him to sign a deal, but Brook Lynn was not. However, she changed her tune as soon as Sidwell said he had already expedited their order of zincide and he’d covered the cost. Natalia stayed behind when the other women left. She warned Sidwell that she would tell the Deception team everything about him but Sidwell shouted that she had no right to ever threaten him after she tore apart their family. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. It was Sonny (Maurice Benard).
Happening at the Metro Court
Before Sonny went to see Sidwell, he had lunch with Laura (Genie Francis). Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) saw them together and warned Laura that it wasn’t a good look. Laura just shrugged him off and asked Sonny if he had visited Ric. It turned out that Sonny had no idea that Ric was in an accident, and he didn’t even seem to care. He just hoped that Ric would survive for Molly’s sake.
Sonny was not happy to see Jack (Chris McKenna) and Carly (Laura Wright) walk in laughing. He was especially curious when Jack left Carly alone at their table to pull him aside. Jack told Sonny all about the hit man who was found dead in his Toronto apartment. Sonny played dumb and pretended he knew nothing about it but Jack knew better.
Lucas (Van Hansis) also had an encounter at the Metro Court. He met up with his pal Marco (Adrian Anchondo), who was moving to Port Charles from Miami. He’d even had an interview with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) to join her law firm.
Emma’s Day in Court
Emma (Braedyn Bruener) was arraigned after being arrested for chaining herself to the crypt. Before the hearing, ADA Turner asked Anna (Finola Hughes) if she had seen Emma’s prior. Turner had tried to find out what Emma was arrested for at Berkely and found that her records were sealed.
In the courtroom, Gio (Giovanni Mazza) argued with Emma and told her that she should have let him be the one to chain himself to the crypt since he didn’t have an arrest record. Emma disagreed. When her hearing began, Turner asked for Emma to be held without bail, but the judge refused. Afer the hearing, Emma told Anna that she couldn’t tell her what happened in Berkely because she had been forced to sign an NDA.
