On the Friday, April 4, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Ric and Ava started putting some very interesting pieces together.
Ric Will Live
After waiting all week to see if Ric (Rick Hearst) would pull through, he finally woke when Ava (Maura West) got permission to be in his room. She begged him to open his eyes so that their last conversation wouldn’t have been an argument. So, Ric did as Ava asked and woke. He told Ava that his brakes failed, which made her suspicious.
In the chapel, Kristina (Kate Mansi) did her usual shtick, raging at God for what had happened and praying that Molly’s (Kristen Vaganos) dad didn’t die. Molly and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) walked in on the last part and were touched that Kristina cared so much about Ric. When they left the chapel, Ava found them and told the women that Ric was awake. Kristina said she needed air, but Alexis and Molly visited with Ric.
Ric didn’t remember much about the accident until Molly said it was a miracle the ambulance got there when they did. He then flashed to seeing Kristina right outside the car before he passed out. As for Ava, she visited the shop where the car was taken to be totaled and asked the mechanic if he could look at the brakes.
Josslyn’s An Agent
Jack (Chris McKenna) was surprised when Josslyn (Eden McCoy) told him that she saw a woman slip Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) a package in a coffee shop. Vaughn denied the accusation and said that Joss was mistaken. Joss said he was lying so Jack made Vaughn empty his pockets and give him the package.
Jack then announced that Josslyn was ready to be an agent because she had passed her last test. He then sent Josslyn home for her first assignment, but Vaughn wasn’t far behind. Carly was thrilled when Josslyn magically appeared in her kitchen.
More Drew Battles
Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) battled it out in Curtis’ office where Drew insulted Curtis by telling him that he was only where he was because Drew put him there. Curtis just wanted Drew to leave Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) alone and not get the kid’s hopes up. Drew claimed to care about Kai and demanded that Curtis not interfere but Drew only wanted Kai to get a medical opinion from Portia (Brook Kerr). The two men were interrupted when Jordan (Tanisha Harper) showed up to recruit them to perform at the Nurses’ Ball since she is working with Lucy (Lynn Herring) this year.
Kai told Trina about the surgery but as soon as she heard this was Drew’s idea she was hesitant. She was especially concerned when she heard that Drew wanted to pay for the surgery and warned Kai to be careful of Drew since she didn’t trust him at all. He had also hurt her father very much. Lucy interrupted them for the same reason Jordan interrupted the men. Trina and Kai will not be performing at the Nurses’ Ball.
